Riddle me this Hootie...

So did BK come to you with a song, or were you so inspired by a chicken sammich that you wrote the song?

Let me expand a bit, the 90's are over, floozies and fair weather friends have spent the bulk of yer loot, but yer still getting enough royalties from Canadian radio stations to keep a semi decent Motel 6 apartment. Burger King needed a hit, they needed it bad after a full on Atkins assault in '04 and the ever looming 'Jared' presence they needed someone, ex-screaming tree's members were too fat, the goo-goo dolls are all vegans, everyone hated the verve pipe, and nobody can remember rusted root, but Hootie, you took good care of yerself, yes, Hootie, that's the answer. Hootie, do we have a song for you, how would you like to move on up to a La Quinta or maybe a Doubletree suite?

Is that how it happened Hootie? Or did you just submit the song thru Monster.com like I did?

Electricity

"Nobody can handle electricity gone amok. It is too powerful... Ben Franklin was never able to lock a door again after the day lightning came down his kite string and fused that key to his thumb. They called it a great discovery and they called him a great scientist; but, in fact, he bawled like a baby for the rest of his life every time he smelled rain in the air."

-Hunter S. Thompson
