Let me take you on a Mustache Ride!
I had a great weekend and didn't even drink any green beer, but after drinkin Jager from 3a.m. till the Sun came up yesterday morning every fluid that comes out of my body is really dark green, almost black. Yes that too, dark green, and that too, everything, EVERYTHING I tells you!!!
So what was the reason for my weekend being so splendid? Glad you asked! First thing I started Friday night off with was a nice nap, new bed calls me sometimes and makes me leave work for sleep. Then I went with Mindy to see her sisters art on display at the art gallery stroll at a new bookstore right next door to Kayo called Red Light Books. Its a pretty damn cool store if you are ever down on 3rd south, maybe checking out music at Slowtrain you should stop in to to see the amazing books you won't find at Deseret Books. My new girlfriend works at Red Light Books, she's so HAWT!

After a nice time downtown I headed up to Ponytown to see Trebuchet play at the Boing House. If you haven't ever heard of the Boing Collective you should read their myspace page they're some of the nicest people in Utah. Trebuchet was so amazing and they might be playing on my show April 7th if we're lucky.
That was pretty much it, I met R2-DStu for a beer then called it a night. I know its pretty fucked up that a dude with a sweet 'stache didn't end up with some hot MILF or in some crazy threesome or in jail, hey I can't do that shit every night, I gots to have atleast one night a week to myself.
So Saturday was a good day as well, even though it was fucking Pats day I managed to make it through the day without getting wasted and passed out by 6. Actually it was really productive, I met Matt Mateus down at KRCL to work on finishing my CD that'll be out in just 2 weeks! Its called Circus Brown's Snackbox, and yes I know I spelled Snackbox wrong, shit I got a mustache, do you think spellerin or punkchewation mean anything to me?
So that night on the show a fine band from Magna, Drop Dead Julio, stopped in and played some tracks off their new album Lack of Direction coming out of March 30th.
After DDJ left, my new favorite band from Denver came by the station, no not The Apples in Stereo, fiancé. They played Kilby that night and were on Park City TV today. Really good band, nice people and hopefully they'll be back in Utah in June and will be playing on my show mid-month.
So fiancé took off and Sara showed up to do her show Aural Linguistics, which really kicked some ass, she played the happiest set list ever and the best hip hop I've heard, then we started drinking the devil's licorice juice around 3 in my basement lounge with Jesse and Carrie and I woke up puking dark green sludge and somehow now I'm in Huntington Beach, and my siren-headed woman is so very far away. How's that for ending a boring story fast? Well thats the update for the day, maybe the week.
Don't forget to tune in on Saturday my guest band of the week is The Heaters they're playin live and I'm pretty excited about it, the last song of theirs I heard was on Portia's show on X96 and it kicked some mustache. Speaking of 'stache, keep'm growin' Utah, keep them growin'!
